Three Sisters

The filmmaker and her two sisters, all three on the verge of old age and each living in Paris, Tel Aviv, and Bogotá, explore their feelings and conflicts towards this stage of life. In their frequent encounters, their opposing visions of old age become increasingly recurrent.

Through poetry, a little humor, and a lot of humanity, this documentary reflects on the special situation of women aging. It invites us to experience the last stage of life in the best way, and at the same time attempts to break the taboo instilled by Western society: talking about the fear of old age and, ultimately, death.

Will Joyce, the youngest sister, and co-protagonist manage to accept this fear and live with it in peace at the end of this creative process?
