Moritz Mayerle

Moritz Mayerle, born in Stuttgart Germany, studied biology at the University of Würzburg. He is working in the natural history genre since he finished his diploma in 2009. In 2010 he joined Marco Polo Film AG as a researcher, writer, and assistant producer. Since 2016 he is working as a freelance author, director and producer, and recently also as Green Consultant. His clients include renowned German factual film production companies such as Marco Polo Film AG, k22 film, and Light & Shadow GmbH.
One of the latest documentaries he was involved in as co-author and producer “The Magical Four – Our Seasons” (1x 90’, Marco Polo Film AG for German broadcaster WDR) was a finalist at the 2021 Jackson World Wildlife Day Showcase: Forests.
