Nadja Smith

Nadja Smith studied photography and audiovisual production with focus on documentary at the Free University Berlin and at the University of Applied Science Bielefeld, Germany. Between 2006 and 2011 she worked for the German broadcasters WDR and rbb/ARTE as well as for the Catalan broadcaster BTV, in cooperation with the Goethe Institute in Barcelona. Since 2011 Nadja Smith worked for different Berlin based production companies as a documentary producer focusing on social documentary for theatrical release and TV. The latest productions she worked on are BERLIN BOUNCER by David Dietl (Berlinale 2019), DEFENDER OF THE FAITH by Christoph Röhl (DOK.fest München 2019) WALCHENSEE FOREVER (Berlinale 2020) by Janna Ji Wonders, THE GUARDIAN by Martina Priessner and others.
