Planet Earth is referred to as "the water planet" however, more than 99 percent of Earth's water is considered unsuitable for use by humans as well as by many other living beings. Today, more than ever, rivers - and with them the lives of millions around them - are threatened by climate change, pollution and unlimited exploitation by large corporations.  This documentary accompanies three women in three continents in their difficult and dangerous effort to preserve the health of water while prompting a reflection on the meaning of this element and on the lust for profit and power, which is destroying our planet.
