Julian Etienne

Julian Etienne is a cultural manager and film programmer fostering diverse storytelling and transformative encounters between media and the public. He has undertaken independent film programming projects since 2009. Between 2018 and 2020 he was programmer and later programming co-director at Ambulante. He is currently the Climate Story Fund Officer at Doc Society where he supports grantees on their production and impact journey since 2021.

Julian writes on media culture for radio and magazines every now and then. Originally from Mexico, he lives with his wife and son in Brussels.
