Perfect Storm Cars is a multi-part documentary series about iconic cars born out of unique historical and cultural circumstances. The automobile reflects the human dream of freedom and self-determination. Since the invention of the modern car in the late 1880s by Carl Benz, this object has been loaded with many projections, expectations and desires.

Cars have always been more than just means of transport: they are carriers of technology, status symbols, objects of emotion. What do they tell about human spirit and human drives during the past 130 years?
