Katya has worked as a self-shooting director and editor for the Guardian for over a decade, creating a critically acclaimed portfolio of work ranging from interactive feature series to one-off documentaries. She specialises in telling international stories of human rights, women's rights and the environment rooted strongly in journalism, and is dedicated to innovation and creativity in visual storytelling. As an Executive Producer, she intimately understands the trials and tribulations of filmmaking, and believes passionately in the art of the craft.
