Kazz Basma

I set up Sideways Film in 2010 in order to bring premium documentaries that reflect our values to the widest possible audience. Since then, the company has grown and I am regularly invited as an expert/consultant or onto juries to festivals and conferences across the world. Typically, I attend around 12 Internationally per year, and as a company closer to 20, with at least one each year on every continant except Africa. More recently, my role has expanded into project partnerships, where my responsibility is to help close budgets via co-pros and pre-sales. The last project we partnered and closed the budget on was "Nomad: In the Footsteps of Bruce Chatwin" by Werner Herzog.
