Keri Putnam
Keri Putnam is a media leader with extensive experience in creative, strategic, financial, and operational roles. She is a former CEO of Sundance Institute and has held senior leadership positions at HBO and Miramax. Ms. Putnam works as a film and television producer, corporate and nonprofit board member, and advisor to multiple clients in philanthropy, media, and the nonprofit arts and culture sectors.
She currently serves on several industry and nonprofit boards, as an independent Director at AMC Entertainment (Audit & Nominating and Governance Committees), Board Member at PICTURESTART, Advisory Board Member at Topic Media, Board Chair at the public interest tech nonprofit New_ Public, and Board Member at Doc Society.
Deeply committed to fostering a diverse and vibrant media landscape, Ms. Putnam is a frequent public speaker and mentors emerging talent. As the 2023-24 Walter Shorenstein Media and Democracy Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School, she researched the challenges facing independent film in the U.S. She is also the Co-founder of ReFrame, an organisation dedicated to increasing diversity in Hollywood, and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
