Markus Nikel

I have worked for more than 25 years as an author, commissioner and international co-production consultant on a variety of factual programmes and documentaries for various departments, strands and thematic channels at RAI, the Italian public broadcaster.

Over the years, I have also worked as an advisor with festivals (GZdoc in China, BakaFORUM in Switzerland, Docit IDS Academy and Industry in Italy, and many more), as well as with the EBU, COPEAM, and with ABU as an EP of factual series projects. In addition I have worked with independent production companies in Europe and abroad, mostly as an author and/or editorial consultant on international development.
