Paul Rieth

While studying Media Communication & Sociology Paul specialised in film and new media, organised film festivals, worked as a film journalist, funded a film production company and produced several short films. After finishing his studies he participated in the Professional Media Masterclass (PMMC) and then continued his drive to research and discover innovative tools for the film industry with his publication of “DOK & CROWD”, the first handbook on the german documentary market including crowdfunding, VOD and Social Media Marketing.

His journey then took him into production and marketing. He participated in the Torino Film Lab “Audience Design” program in 2017 which he then joined as a consultant and trainer for several projects. He consulted International project within the FeatureLab as well as other European training initiatives. Paul has given 100+ workshops and lectures on film marketing, audience building, crowdfunding and innovation for universities, institutions and companies in Europe and abroad. In 2021he joined the Filmuniversity Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF where he researches, lectures and organised events in innovation and film. www.paulrieth.de

His Berlin-based company GET YOUR CROWD has worked on a variety of audience building, marketing and crowdfunding campaigns for it`s clients and developed individual strategies to bring films and audience together. Besides that GET YOUR CROWD is very active in the development and production of video content in the field of documentary, feature and social media.
