Pietro Anton

Pietro Anton, born in Magenta (Italy) in 1978, graduated in Film Studies at D.A.M.S. University in Bologna. After working in Milan for broadcasting companies such as Sky, MTV and Mediaset, he moved to Berlin, starting his career as Documentary Filmmaker with "Italo Disco Legacy”, a movie about the 80’s Italian dance productions and their impact on contemporary electronic music. The film premiered in 2018 in Berlin at a sold-out Berghain club and has toured the world since, with 70 screenings in 25 countries. His second film "Electronic Body Movie", released in 2024, is the first documentary ever made about pioneering Electronic Body Music bands such as Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, Front 242 and Liaisons Dangereuses. The movie is currently touring internationally in clubs, movie theaters, music and film festivals.
