My Digital Nomad
To better understand my own daughter, first I have to understand the ideology of the virtual community she is considering becoming a part of, the ever-growing society of the digital nomads. Because she is not alone. Thousands of other millennials are taking the same road, young people who can make their living by working on their laptops, tablets, cell-phones. All they need is reliable access to the internet, and preferably to the sea and sunshine. The new Home and Workplace is the world and the preference is to be on the move. The key word is independence from any kind of commitment. Does the picture painted on social media tell the full story? What kind of risks is my daughter taking? I am looking for some answers to so many questions!
