Dr. Freezelove or How I Learned to Lose the Bomb

Country
Denmark
Director

Thule, Greenland. An unexplained chapter in the Artic Cold War took place here. Because of a cover-up of one of the biggest American nuclear accidents of the Cold War, few have heard about the nuclear activities that took place in the 1950s and 1960s, the hundreds of Danes, Inuit and Americans who died after being exposed to radiation, the missing atom bomb under the ice and Inuit hunting still affected by nuclear waste.

For the first time, the film plunges into the Arctic Cold War to witness the frenzied response to the Russian threat.
