The Quest For The Holy Foreskin

For centuries the Holy Foreskin was the most sacred relic in Christendom, the only piece of Jesus' Flesh to remain on Earth after He ascended to heaven. Believing it had miraculous powers, pilgrims flocked from all over Europe to worship it; according to some the Holy Foreskin was the real Holy Grail.

Then, on New Year's Day in 1983, in a tiny village in the Roman countryside, local priest Don Dario announced to his expectant flock that the village's beloved relic had been stolen. New York Times writer David Farley has spent years trying to solve this mysterious crime. The documentary follows him on his quest to find the lost relic, unravelling a Vatican conspiracy.
