Music Collector - Last Chance to Hear: The Balkans

Musical globetrotter Hayden Chisholm is on a mission to collect music that he fears is about to be lost forever in these fast changing times. For his first trip he will travel the Balkans followed by other world regions for subsequent series. He will learn traditional instruments, play with local musicians and discover, to his delight, that in some cases, the youth is evolving their forefathers’ musical knowledge in extraordinary ways. At the end he will present his musical travelog: a concert with musicians he has met on the way and the music he has collected.
