Our Paused Dreams
For "stability" many Egyptians had to pause their revolution's dream and elect the radical Islamic regime.
The stability virus threatens Ahmed Nour's life as well since his mother has started to ask him to quit filmmaking for a fixed job because soon his father would not be able to help his financially.
Ahmed enters the world of his father who had to give up his dream and quit writing after Ahmed's birth. Ahmed tries to bring his father's dream to life and get him out of his depression by taking him and his mother for a visit to Almansoura, the city where they met during the 1967-1973 war.
This visit and the ensuing political incidents during the rule of "Muslim Brothers" affect Ahmed and his father in making the decision to follow their dreams.
