The film portrays certain characters that work in the field of public weddings in Egypt and their struggles to survive in harsh social and economical circumstances. “Am Arabi Karafata”, the caterer, takes us on a personal journey describing his relationship with the belly dancers whom he married and his personal viewpoint about the world and how he views women in particular. “Mona”, the belly dancer, talks about the preparations overhead before every wedding. We accompany her to the beauty salon and off to the wedding and we witness the atmospheres of simple rustic public weddings. “Samar” worked as a hostess in night clubs before becoming a belly dancer at weddings.
