C'mon lets get extinct!

It’s obvious human progress is ruining our planet, putting human civilization and survival in real danger. If we want Earth to be habitable for our children, it’s time to ask the inconvenient question: How many people can live on it? Our journey takes us to demographers calculating possible population sizes, radical anti-natalists demanding complete human extinction, family planning activists fighting for access to contraceptives, and critics wanting to focus instead on modern consumption levels. Discussing overpopulation from very different perspectives shows that even the most radical plans would not solve our most urgent problem. Being confronted with the worst scenarios, we might just open our minds to what has been said for a long time: we have to change our way of life and our economy.
