FAQ
Who is eligible to apply?
Scientists from any field, currently conducting research, linked to European institutions can apply. The Lab Program is open to participants of all cultures, races, genders, and sexualities.
How much time is involved?
It equates to around 10 days total of scheduled face-to-face tuition/workshopping/meetings with the Institute teams, spread between October 2022 and June 2023; plus additional time for individual work ahead of these scheduled meetings that can be arranged at your own convenience.
How much is online and how much is in person?
There are two in-person sessions: two days in either Paris or Grenoble, France, in October and three days at SILBERSALZ Festival in Halle (Saale) in June. The rest of the programme is online.
Will the programme require travelling?
Yes the programme requires travelling. Either to Paris or Grenoble, France, in October 2022 and for all projects to Halle (Saale) in June 2023.
Is there funding for the travel expenses?
Yes, we will provide a flat fee to cover travel expenses.
Is the programme fully funded or do the participants have to pay a fee?
No, participants do not have to pay anything for their participation.
